Digital art's

design your own art project

Picture

description

In this project we could do anything we wanted that would show our skills that we have learned. I Tried to turn a picture into a cartoon.

Logo project

Description

In this project we had to create a logo out/for anything we wanted. I made a logo using my initials  O and I. We drew these logos on multiple pieces of paper to refine our designs. When we had our final design we scanned the logo and imported it to Adobe illustrator. We traced these in illustrator to get them digitalized. When it was done we picked things out to put our logo on. I put my logo on a Shirt, hoodie and water bottle.

Reflection

This was a good and fun project, we had a lot of freedom and it was very open ended. Something we were told in this project was to try to make your logo as eye catching as possible. This is very important if you own a business or anything that needs advertising. It makes your business stand out and will make people more likely to look at it.

technology political cartoon

Picture
In this project my task was to make a political cartoon from our thesis statement in our Op-ed. I learned a lot during this project. I learned how to brainstorm and then turn it into A picture, I also learned how to turn a sentence into a visual thing. I didn't use my time very well in during this project I thought that it would be a easy process, but it turned out that it was a lot harder to make this into a reality.

Black History month visual aid

Picture
In this project we had to relate Digital Arts to Humanities. In Humanities we are Studying Black History Month. The image to your left represents how some African Americans are still being treated unfairly and in resent times they have been arrested and sometimes killed by Police officers. The topic that I studied for Black History Month was Freedom Summer in 1964 when there was a massive movement for African Americans to get the right to vote in Mississippi.

When I put these two images into photoshop I got the image with the man. I put it into photoshop and refined the edge. Then I got the image

I understood some of the basics in photoshop before this project, But now I can do a lot more in this program. I feel more comfortable in photoshop now that I did this project. I knew how to get a picture into photoshop and that was it. Now I know how make people look different and blend this together.
