career day

career day reflection

The whole purpose of these career days was to prepare us for life after high school. We went to spots all around Durango and looked at the way they function and what goes into running a small business to a large one. I thought that the Career days went pretty well. The idea of giving the freshmen class a little advice for life after high school and then taking a day off of school to go and look at these places to see what a real work environment look liked was pretty cool. Some of the places that we went weren't very interesting but that gave me the idea that I would like to work in a place when I just stare at a computer screen all day. I'm glad that some of the places were not very interesting because it gave me a idea of were I would prefer to work. Overall I think that the Career Day program is a very important thing and Animas high should keep it going.
